Becoming

Who am I?
I ask myself that question,
‘Cos who I am is not static,
It is an evolving experience,

I know who I was,
I know who I have been,
But I am not sure who I am.

It is not written what I am yet to experience
And how my reaction would affect my version of reality
How it would open a new part of me
Revealing hidden strengths and weakness
And with that transformation,
The manifestation of a new me

So when I tell you this is who I am,
Be sure to know that I am referring to who I was,
Cause I don’t know what I am becoming
